Jeroen Zuiderwijk 230
There's the quick and efficient way of doing things, or more exciting, challenging and time consuming ways. Like for example if you want a knife, you can go buy one at a store. It's cheap, does the job fine. Or you can learn to forge one yourself, play with fire, bash metal, and craft various other materials and 20 years later, you will still some day be making that perfect knife that you always wanted to make. But you've had lots of fun (and frustration) along the way.

Clifford Brewer 357
A ways back in time when I was in a low spot in my life my only friend in the world was an old hound dog. one evenin we were havin a beer or three,..... or more, ( he was a good ol' hound, he liked beer ) Well you can understand my surprise when he spoke these words to me. He said my friend this ol' world is a tough place to be in and Iv'e got some philosophical words fer you to chew on, and they've always worked fer me''''' If you can't eat it, And if you can't fight it, And if you can't fuck it, Just piss on it !! And on that day it occurred to me, just how smart an ol' hound can be Edited September 1, 2018 by Clifford Brewer

Brian Dougherty 1,091
This board is refreshing apolitical, so this is a bit risky for me to post. However, the current political climate has driven me to coin another phrase: "I have the right to be offended by anything you do. However, I choose to waive that right because I am willing to assume you meant no harm."
Clifford Brewer 357
I think all of us lose sight of the fact that simplicity is one of the greatest things that we all too often forget to appreciate, be it pleasure, or the process of work. The K.I.S.S. principal applies to all things great and small ......................
