Hello, good evening, I introduce myself. My name is lisandro rojo, I'm from Intendente alvear, Argentina. I am a rookie, since a year ago and little more decided to venture into the forge of steel, my favorite weapons are the sword.
A month ago I started with my first big project, the Cawood sword.
I think I have it finished, details are missing, but now the other part is missing: The cover.
That is why I go to those who know, I have doubts about how the case would be, I want to replicate what is closer to what would have been the original, I do not want to do something that does not correspond.
Do any of you have any images of how the fudas that used these swords would be? I'd appreciate your help.
I send greetings

After a little searching for things I vaguely remembered seeing here, the following threads will have information you will find helpful.

In no particular order, they are:

https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/35958-wip-rapier-hanger-and-scabbard/ (this one is later than the Cawood, but some techniques still apply),

https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/31365-sword-scabbard-and-wire-wrap-handle/ (this one is really what you need),

https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/36622-seven-king-sword/ (Actually THIS one is what you want!)

https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/37523-love-at-first-sight/ (just for technique and artistry)

https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/37203-single-edged-viking-sword/ (these last two are also for techniques)

Thank you very much Alan for your contribution, very good material that I approach, among which are the masterpieces of the Fontenla brothers, teachers and referents of my country, I had the joy of seeing those swords live and hold them, and they are incredible! my aspiration is much more modest, I want to make this first recreation as credible as possible, so maybe I will face one of the simple models that you showed, since they would be adapted to this beautiful and simple sword that I made.
