I'm having rather severe belt bump issues on my Klingspor JFlex belts, been unable to source 3M's so far but I might be able to get VSM belts

Any opinions on these?

I use VSM ceramics for grinding and I think they are just as good as the 3m belts.

I haven´t used the flexible belts so I can´t really say anything meaningful, but I suspect they will be fine

Thanks for the feedback.

The seller wants to sell the whole lot in one go, unfortunately I manage that

It seems like the flexible belts are the ones worst affected by belt bump so at this stage I don't even understand why they exist after 220 grit :P

Yeah, unfortunately the thinner the belt the worse the belt bump gets.

The absolute best belts for finishing are the trizact DC ``gator`` belts, these have no belt bump at all and leave beautiful finish.

unfortunately they are expensive and hard to get, even when living in europe.

I've been thinking if I could get the right timing belts I could build a rotary platen.
