40 kg/88 lb Canadian blacksmith supply power hammer

Jeremy, I'd be careful if'n I were you.  You look an awful lot like a CIA or FBI undercover agent and those Chinese prisons have mighty nasty accommodations for spies as I understand it. :D

So it was too good to be true. The quote she gave me was for a 40 kg hammer m. The 75 kg is $4500! Still reasonable but a little out of my price range if I'm going to do it in the timeframe in shooting for. I have my eyes on another style hammer all together. Actually its identical to John Rigioni's hammer on 35 kg/77 lb where John's is a 50 kg/110 lb.

Made some modifications to my top die of the hammer.

The top die has a hole drilled and tapped to be able to bolt on various tooling. I off set the tooling so I can have a bolster next to it to drive the drift in rounding hammers.

I watched alec steele's latest video and after watching it, it took me 10 minutes to tune my hammer in so the tup doesn't hit the top plate anymore!!!:)

I got a lot out of that same video.  The way those hammers work was a mystery to me until I watched that.  Now I want to go off an build my own :)

3rd hammer down in the right column is a shop built self contained hammer.
