There are 28 people on the list and a little over a month until the proposed "deadline" for completion. (date subject to change without notice)

So post the finished entries folks.

It's usually my wife, but since I'm in it this year it should be a third party with no interests.

Wait!  Your wife is actually interested in this?  Lucky sob...

OK, I get your point an appreciate the desire for neutrality.  You just can't tee one up that easily around me :P

I dunno. I trust the impartiality of the ever elegant Dr King as always.

I am done too, I'll have to do a little write up in my kith thread soon.

The person who draws my name wil get to pick one of the damascus folders. I'm keeping the monosteel one for myself.

Im sure everybody trusts Alans wife, and the only thing I would not trust Alan with is an anvil, he tends to get a little to enthusiastic about them,,,,, :),,,,  However, if she doesn't want to do it and nobody steps up to draw names, I could write them on rocks and have my kid pick them blind out of a five gallon bucket, I have plenty of rocks, lol.

Anyway,,,,, knives are looking awesome this year,,,, just curious but how many forum members are actually making and selling folders now days?

All,

I began with a working Puukko but saw several had chosen folders. So I changed to a friction. Stag handle, bleached with HP, polished and split. 5160 steel, (JohnDeere donation!), forged, upset/fattened in thickness to allow takeoff, quenched -tempered as recommended here in the forums. Dyed mahogany brown, (mottled as expected). Horizontal cross draw belt sheath will be added with it. I do not like a long lever but this one actually works well and I am pleased. Action is tight yet it moves well.

I am always pleased and consider these exchanges an honor, a great way to share in this excellent forum!

Finally done with my fixed blade EDC. Sadly I ran into too many snags on the folder to get it done in time. I will have a sheath made up by the time this little guy gets shipped out.
