Zeb Camper 780
It seems half the makers on the signup and I will not meet the deadline. Could I ask for another month or two, pretty pretty please? So maybe end of September? All in favor of a time extension: a show of hands please!?
Alan Longmire 2,648
Fine with me. And I'm finished, too!
Alex Middleton 484
No problem by me. The more that finish the merrier.
Brian Dougherty 1,102
No objection from me. I'm done too, but would rather more people get a chance to finish.
Conner Michaux 271
Won’t be finished by sep 1st So why not!
Joël Mercier 505
I was dropping out so that's fine for me. It might give me enough time to make something.

Charles dP 461
Been a bit stuck for time. Might still make the initial deadline but an extension would be welcome.
Robert D. 94
Was the original deadline Sept 1st or 31st, I cant remember. I am all good with an extension, I should be finished before the end of this month, but I dont mind waiting as I just wanna see all the cool knives made.
Joshua States 1,671
I have been trying to find a "finished by" date in the threads, and I am coming up with nada. I do not believe we ever really set a date. Can anyone find the post where it is written?
Bruno 87
I only found two references to a date. One made by you Joshua.... https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/38308-kith-2019/page/3/ Quote Then again, being that the due date is in September, ... And the other made by Conner on the top of the sign up page. https://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?/topic/38384-kith-2019-sign-up/ Quote I think we decided That September first is when we start delivery. I'm still in btw. But work and family has had me left with non existent time. I was gonna push for the end of the month, but I don't want rushed work leaving the shop. I wouldn't mind a 30 day extension... Probably straying away from the stilleto idea and go with a small lockback folder. Just to keep it state friendly. Err Friendlier... jheinen 41
Well that makes me happy. Turns out I have to go out of town the next couple of weekends, and since I'm only really able to work on stuff on the weekends, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to finish. Alex Middleton 484
Sounds good to me too. Both of my kids have birthdays in the next couple of weeks. A few weeks of breathing room will help to keep the wife a little happier.

Jeremy Blohm 510
If I can get all the floor coverings done in my house I might be able to beg the wife to allow me to fire up the forge and make my KITH contribution.
