A recent piece of work. A pattern welded tomahawk with a 5 bar construction with each bar having 14 layers. The cutting edge is approx 500 layers. The edge is 2 1/4" and the head is 6" long.

Alan, I have run out of handles now and will need some more.

James, the name is an inlay all the way through but has not been made by the canister/powder method. Just flat pieces of steel that we all use.

Very clean and well done. What sizes did you start out with for your mark? Does it read backwards on the other side?

That is very cool Mick and I'm seriously digging the Maker's Mark.

Alan, I seem to remember you posting a link to those handles, but I cannot locate it again.

It's best to call them.  That is one of their WD-1 handles, medium grade.
