“So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.”

The only bad experience is the one from which you learn nothing.

Is a Costco brand really whiskey?

Yep. Sure is.

In my brother's defense, this was "hidden in the basement, in an old filing cabinet, stuck in a disused lavatory, with a sign on the door saying beware of the leopard". He has several serious Bourbons upstairs where they are readily available.

Ten points for correctly quoting the council's location of the bypass plans for Arthur Dent's house!

And yeah, it's technically whisky, just like a knife from Wal-Mart is technically a knife... it does the job, but without any sense of style or pride in craftsmanship.

We just got something new in the local PX, Firefly brand moonshine, in 3 or 4 different flavors; I bought a jar of the Apple Pie flavor.....quite good for sippin'.:)

Dis you taste it @Joshua States? I've read some quite positive reviews about Kirkland whisky in general.

I gave up drinking a long time ago

Oh yeah I remember that now. Sorry pal

No apologies necessary. I do remember the difference between good whiskey and not good whiskey!

Kirkland beer is surprisingly okay, and the vodka too if memory serves. The scotch...let's just say the only time I've had it, I thought someone poured me a glass of rum.
