That looks like a serious field knife. Interesting patina. How did you get that?

Dip in ferric just long enough turn a light grey....cut out the pattern you want, or stencil, place it on the blade.then spray lightly with rustoleum matte clear.let dry,drop back in ferric until desired color and pattern are reached. Pull out spray with widex,then lacquer thinner to remove the rustoleum ....dry,and oil.

  I appreciate the comments. This one is 5160 and African bubinga wood.
