Alex Middleton
Since there hasn't been any objections, let's make it official. The theme for the Christmas KITH is a blacksmith's knife. Any style or length of blade. Decorations and additions may be made, but the main blade and handle frame must be forged from one continuous piece of metal. Handle may be wrapped, but any additions must not interfere with the overall "look" of a Blacksmith's Knife. Addition of a sheath is up to the smith but since its Christmas, I think there should be at least some sort of "wrapping" included. Hard deadline of December 15th to allow time for shipping before Christmas. Did I miss anything? Gerhard Gerber
I voted and everything, but apologies, I won't be able to get a knife done in time. I undertook to take part in the next KITH while the previous one was developing. This one came a bit quick and life happened.......this is my 2nd day back working full time and clearly my knife making will be heavily affected......for better or worse
