1080 / 15N20  forged by maker

Just got this heat treated and etched ,now the fun starts.

Had this Walrus tusk for a while so I think this is the handle material.

All done except for the leather work.

I heat blued all the stainless fittings except the guard.

This is a pretty package, I like the blued stainless concept by heat. Very nice. I can’t help but wonder what would have happened if the blade was hot blued or rather if it could have been blued to a bluish color? Not that this needs it, just something I’ve been fancying as there is a gunsmith who will blue near enough to me.

Very much appreciated you sharing this.

Exceptional. Blued is a perfect choice for the fittings and a simple but elegant handle to boot. Well done.
