Blacksmith Folders

Here are a few folding knives I have made lately.  They also double as a flint striker. Blades are 1084 and frame is 5160

Those are really, really nice. They're a great mixture of rugged and clean. I've never had the urge to make a folding knife until now. Well done!

That is very cool! I am gonna have to make me one of those now. I never knew a Brute de forge texture could look so clean. How comfortable are they to hold?

Thanks guys. I made  probably a half dozen prototypes before I figured this out.

I had people asking for striker/knife combos so I figured I kill two birds with one stone.

Frank, this is a unique concept, Kudos! and much appreciated to share. Certainly has a place for folks who want both striker and something with a edge.

Frank, I like the simplicity of this folder. Noticed the friction folders you had done on your other post. You've got a talent. The friction folders reminded me of this old how to book that Gene Chapman put out several years ago. It maybe something  you already have: https://www.amazon.com/ANTLER-Building-Mountain-Folding-Knife/dp/B007HEA2OG
