Mosaic Pins / Supplies / Supplier

Hello all, 

 

just curious if anyone makes their own mosaic pins and who they use as a supplier? 

 

interweb searching is not helping me on the journey.

I don't use them, but they aren't hard to make. Basically a brass or aluminum tube with smaller tubes and wires inside. Then its filled with colored epoxy. I saw how one maker did it, they put everything in the tube, then attached a piece of aquarium airline tubing to a big syringe, and then over the end of the tube. They placed the whole deal down in some colored epoxy, pulled the plunger just until the epoxy entered the air tubing. Then they put the open end down in a big glob of hot glue, standing it upright to keep the epoxy from leaking out. They cut off the airline tubing and just waited for it to dry!
