I have a replica sting sword (from lord of the rings) I won yesterday in a raffle. Originally I was told it was made in spain and only around 250 were ever made and it was a rare collectors edition. Now I want to believe him but I can't find anything on the makers mark or any kind of other identification or way to track down where it came from. I was hoping maybe someone here could help me or has any idea. I still have the sword and ill post a picture of the blade and the makers mark.

This is probably the wrong sort of forum for this question.  We are makers (for the most part) and not collectors.

There are a number of movie replica sites on Facebook, and I would try there.

Thanks

I said that.

So, just for the record: the fact that it does work still should not be taken as definitive proof that you are not crazy.

$50 ?!?!?!?!

OMG......Can I get bulk pricing? Maybe send me a dozen. I'm having a field day at the swap meet.
