Hi Guys

Knife and sheath now complete for this frontier style Bowie. The blade is made from W-1 with mustard etched bevels, the handle is stabilised California buckeye burr held with two S/S Corby bolts and the sheath is rawhide wrapped leather with buckskin fringe, beads and horse hair cones. Thank you for taking the time to look, all comments always welcome.

Regards

Steve

There's a lot going on there, for what appears at first glance to be a "simple" knife.  I like it.

Thanks Alan

There were lots of different aspects that the customer wanted tied in together. For example the mustard etch to mimic the grain in the buckeye burr, the polished finger choil to match the polished Corby bolts and the straight top of the sheath to match the straight edge of the flap on the front of the sheath.

That looks very nice.

Goes good with the Colt.
