Alveprins
Just finished the gold inlay on this new blade - belonging to the future knife "Fornkili" - old norse for "Old Wedge". It is forged in a san-mai lamination out of an antique mountain wedge used in the Kongsberg Silver Mines - with a core of folded and twisted sawblade steel and 15n20. Proceeding with work on the handle. Very excited... Sincerely, Alveprins.

Kevin Colwell
that is a beautiful piece of steel, and the whole blade looks really good with the inlay and contrasts. Great work so far. please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. I said then and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it; while there is a criminal element, I am of it; while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.” E. V.
