Doug Lester 400
Another outstanding blade, great job. Doug HELP...I'm a twenty year old trapped in the body of an old man!!!
Alan Longmire 3,678
Lovely! I like all these little Birka-style saxes showing up these days. It's just over 15 years since the first seax rennaissance (driven by this very forum, btw!), maybe a new one is arriving?

A fine looking knife sir! 2 1 “So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. Doug Lester 400
I think that the first wave started about 20 years ago and there's always been someone turning them out. There's a lady at Fay's Forge, coincidentally named Fay, who posts on You Tube. I don't think that I've seen her show a knife that she's made that wasn't a seax. She's really good at carving handles too. Doug HELP...I'm a twenty year old trapped in the body of an old man!!!
Alan Longmire 3,678
It never stopped, it just seemed to peak around 2014-2015, with minor resurgences since. Like now.

Jirka Antes 102
As i promised last time, i am attaching a "brother" of the last presented knife. It is more inspired by northern knives and i have used a birch bark for the first time here. And i have to say it certainly was not for the last time, i think it´s very nice material and i love the scent of it. 9 https://www.facebook.com/Antikovadilna
Jirka Antes 102
Hi, I have a new knife to show. It is small knife with san mai blade and walnut handle. The blade is little bit asymetrical, it is a Jekyll and Hyde sort of blade :D. The sheath has a wooden core and it has some decorating. 5 https://www.facebook.com/Antikovadilna
