Just saw this on knife network. Watch out for a post titled

 

"Urgent appeal; Please get us out of here"

 

Looks like Iraqi scum trying to act like our guys to get us up in arms. Just want people to catch it before it spreads. Googled it and they are hitting forums everywhere they can.

No, didn't check out every link, worried the video the supposedly had would be virus laden. In my opinion Windows Media files are ripe for exploits. Didn't want to risk them being able to spread this crap by my system.

If your reasonably up to date on updates, the jpegs should be safe. The flaw in windows that allowed a jpeg to carry a virus has been fixed for a while.

 

Windows media is continually having problems. If you don't trust the source, shouldn't play media under Windows Media.
