J.Arthur Loose
Long time no see, but I need refuge from the banality of other social media. Again. LOL. So I got a commission outside my normal purview… and it has been a fun challenge. It is an inspired by for Norwich University in Vermont and the Smithsonian affiliated Sullivan Museum just over the mountain. The original saber was owned by the founder, Alden Partridge, and dates circa the Revolutionary War. I was able to document the original, and there are paintings of him with it. They will use the re-envisioned one for various ceremonies. It will be cast in bronze, gold plated and have garnet inset eyes. Wish me luck 7 jloose.com
