Al Massey
...Does anyone have more info on this? I know he was around my age. Complicated man, I considered him a friend, gave me lots of useful info wrt press building and forgewelding. Sad to see people disappearing, have to get used to it now that I'm over 60. Doug Lester
Yes, I was going to the funeral of a late cousins widower with my brother and it dawned on us that we were in the senior members of the family. It shocked me to meet my first cousin three times removed. Doug HELP...I'm a twenty year old trapped in the body of an old man!!!
Alan Longmire
I haven't heard, but I know life's been rough on him the last few years. He taught me quite a bit as well. Bummer.
Joshua States
Yeah we are at the point where there are fewer years ahead than there are behind. This might brighten the spirits a bit. https://youtu.be/8bs2NFMLO7k “So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.” The only bad experience is the one from which you learn nothing. Richard Brown
Hi folks. Sad way for me to put my first post on this forum, but yes, Randal passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He has been mentoring me through my journey as a craftsman (albeit a part time craftsman) for almost a decade and we became good friends. As I said to someone else today, I felt like I had only just started to scratch the surface of his knowledge and his personality. Hopefully he rests easy, he'll be missed.
