I have an anvil that was my great grandfather’s I would like to find more info on, only makings I can find are the weight and an E on the other side. any help would be much appreciated. Alan Longmire Posted August 5, 2022 Share Posted August 5, 2022 Without any other markings, all I can say is that it's English, made in the Black Country somewhere between Birmingham and Sheffield around 1840-1870, and it weighed 118 pounds (53.5 Kg) when new.
