I ran into Sage Grouse Leather at the Salt Lake show and decided that he was the guy to make a scabbard for it. Not only is his work first class, but his photography is top of the line. 12" blade, forged 5160 27" OL Curly Maple and stabilized Walnut Sage Grouse posted this Many thanks to Geoff @5elementsforge. This maple-hafted Hog Splitter provided the funnest build I’ve ever done. The blade is 12”. Overall length 27”. The sheath includes a strap adjustable from 45”-60” for shoulder-carry or wall-hanging.
