Kevin Colwell
Hi Matt, That is an impressive amount of control on the pattern and getting all the nooks and crannies to weld cleanly. I liked the sister blade when I saw it at the gathering, and I like this one. You definitely have your feet under you as an artist and craftsman. please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. I said then and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it; while there is a criminal element, I am of it; while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.” E. V. Joshua States
Holy smokes dude! That's an awesome bit of kit. “So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.” The only bad experience is the one from which you learn nothing. The materials are a mix of 1080 1095 and 15n20 the etch was a pain on this one . it was a lot of cycles polishing back to 1500 couldn't get the back ground to darken evenly so I left it bright. Dick Sexstone
This is a cool one Matt….. I like this etch result better than the dark dramatic look because I think it will still look good after it is used (hopefully it will be ) …… and like the “scene” too…… I thought the video was a nice way of showing it ….. but I think the movement is too fast….. I kept wanting to get a longer look at some of the angles you were holding it at…. Good luck at the show…..looks like you are bringing some nice stuff…..
