Dana Acker
Years ago, I was at the Troy, Ohio Blacksmith’s Conference. At the swap meet, I purchased some railroad spikes that were about a foot long, and had a head on each end. I was told they were manufactured that way, then cut in half to make 2 regular sized spikes. Would anyone have any idea where I might find some for sale? I also, at the same swap meet, found some longer RR spikes about 8 inches long. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. I haven’t been to Troy in a while, as I’m in NC. Thank you. SteveBorowski
what did you think of all the weird statues around Troy? I striped the roads there for a dozen years. The statues kinda weirded me out.
Gerald Boggs
Don't know about the double headed, but the long spikes are available here. It's been a while, but you could buy a can at a time and they would ship in two flat rate boxes. http://keystonespikes.com/wordpress/
Gerald Boggs www.geraldboggs.com

Dana Acker
Steve, I think it was in the 90’s last time I was there. Being from NC, my host went the back way through farm country to Troy. I don’t remember statues. What kind were they?
