Gentlemen, how long is the handle on Randal 14, border patrol version (no finger grooves). Or does anybody have a blueprint. Thanks.

I do not, sorry.    I see there's a book with all that info, but it is out of print and very expensive.

Rats!, me and my big mouth.  Now I've got to figure out which box in the storeroom.  In the meantime, Randell's web site says about 4 1/2 inches.

Well, I'll tell you what I do in these situations. I download a picture of the model in question, and measure the length in pixels. The Randell 14 on the Randell website seems to do well. The knife in the picture is 713 pixels long, and the handle is 262 pixels. If the knife is 14 inches long, that means (14x262)/713 = 5.14 inches.

4.5 inch handle, 7.5 blade, total is a little over 12 1/8.

Drawn directly over the photo, doing kind of that. I like that particular knife but I want to modernise it slightly.
