Steve Elliott
So I had a ton of fun making this one (big surprise) it went to one of my friends I served with some time ago. The steel is repurposed sawmill blade (I'm guessing 1095 or 15N20) testing with files it's between 60-65 hrc. The scales I picked up from amazon, its a crushed aluminum honeycomb with purple resin, liners are purple G10. To finish off the look I used brass pins, I wanted to use brass eyelets on the sheath too but realized I had none so black was the next best choice. Engraving my makers mark I use a 10W laser engraver and blued the blade using cold bluing solution. ENJOY!!
