design progression

made this composite image to show the progression of a piece I'm working on. From left, the customer supplied design, my initial revised sketch, the finalised design, the knife after rough profiling the handle, after the initial carving, and almost finished:

now I'm trying to get the blade colour back to where it was in the second last image, which was just a test etch at 320 grit...
