Falcon Sgian Dubh

Recommended Posts

Finally finished this one. 3 1/2" forged suminigashi blade with knotwork and runic engraving, boxwood handle carved as a viking style falcon with buffalo horn eyes, copper mounts with engraved silver overlays. Copper scabbard covered in deerskin, with a copper and silver clan crest and mounts, and a buffalo horn scabbard throat:

Masterful work Jake!

The carving always top notch.
The copper/silver combo really is artistically above and beyond.

Thank you for showing. Inspirational for everyone to dream on.

Seriously upping the game Jake. I saw the blade and handle on FB, but that ferrule and sheath! Whoa baby!

Jake ,I really like the box wood contrast to the sheath..... I would prefer to see the copper with a natural patina that it will acquire with age....  It  looks like a very complete  piece.....Nice!!!!!!   Thanks
