Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

THESE ARE USED TO REMOVE A WARP FROM A HEAT TREATED KNIFE BLADE. SEVERAL VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE.....

I was in need of a carbide straightening hammer so I made a few. They are drilled and PRESS FIT with a 6 ton press. I did add an adhesive but definitely not necessary.
These are 8oz ball peen hammers with a 3/8" SOLID CARBIDE ball bearing. Handles are finished in AXE WAX. These are the highest quality ball bearings available.

Size: 3/8" (0.375" inch)
Grade: G25
Hardness: 90 Rockwell
Sphericity: 0.000025

PRICE IS $80 each. PM IF INTERESTED
