You can download here

(just add the .mpg tld on the file name after download... )

Seb,

before I download, would it be "Le katana, sabre de samourai" that was broadcasted on Arte early January?

Good lead Ford, I came up with this.

Professionally-Produced VHS Videotape on Swordmaking:

>"THE SECRET WORLD OF THE JAPANESE SWORDSMITH"

>

>This superb videotape shows the complete process of how a NIPPON-TO is

>made - from TAMAHAGANE to finished blade:

>- all color, VHS format, hi-fi stereo sound

>- comes in a sturdy plastic case with attractive "jacket"

>- 50 minutes recorded length with full English narration

>- featuring Yoshindo Yoshihara (a MUKANSA level master

>  swordsmith) who shows how a NIPPON-TO is crafted

>- detailed footage showing forging, tempering, heating, cooling,

>  hamon creation, shaping, and other crucial steps

>- each videotape is factory-sealed and includes a short

>  biography sheet which has been personally signed and dated

>  by Yoshindo Yoshihara with his personal seal (HANKO)

>- this is absolutely the very best videotape on the crafting of

>  NIPPON-TO (there have been others, but this one stands out!)

>

>Price: US$94.00 includes packing/postage for domestic U.S.

>    (Connecticut residents please add $5.40 sales tax).

I found this one but I have not purchased them yet. The video set looks interesting but it is very pricey.

That was posted to Iaido-L in 1999. I think someone's gonna have to send a letter to this guy letting him know that people are still interested. I would but I'm a little fund-shy right now.

It was meant to be a statement.. sort of. I was just meaning for a video to be so amazing, it is amazing to me that it is so rare. It is puzzling to me. Anyway, I have now gotten two sources for the video and plan to buy soon. $95.00 a video might be the reason for the rarity of it, whewww..sort of high. Still plan to buy though.

thanks

Hi folks, this is the Emule ink for the Discovery Channel "Discovery Channel - Decisive Weapons - The Samurai Sword [DivX502] Martial Arts Ancient Warriors - Japanese Samurai Sword"

I hope you will like!

By the way I would like your help on this matter ...

I am trying to find the diffusion velocity of the element chromium and that of niobium at grain boundaries (including complete reference of source) in a range of temperatures from 973 K to 1073 K.

Its a high purity alloy Fe-Cr ; Fe-Nb

If I am not much mistaken that for niobium is (v = 160 nm/s at 1073 K) but I have no clue for chromium !

Thank you all for your time and interest to help me,

Maleck

I've been trying to download the video that seb posted and all I get is this;

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /katana on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I am greatly dismayed by this because I want to see what all the fuss is about :( . Can anyone help me out with this predicament. I would be very greatful, in fact it would look somewhat like this :notworthy: .

Thank you for your help :notworthy: . I do not mean to sound ungrateful, but the video link you posted is not the one I wanted to see. I was wondering if you knew how to watch the second video on the first page. I still can not download it even after i downloaded "Free Download Manager" and "VLC media player" it still comes up.

I am looking for this video as well his site gives a forbidden error msg. Any help on this matter is appriciated. If some one has the video and is willing to upload it I have space on my server, and I can share it out to the population who are interested in it. This goes for any type of video file that any one has on knife making of sword making. Just let me know and I will set you up with an ftp account and you can upload it. Walla the people have the video files.
