Adlai Stein
Every year for he holidays my employer gives away money toward a trip and after 8 years I have finally won it. My wife and I incredibly excited and have decided that some time in the fall we are going to go to London for a week and hit the sights and museums. I was hoping that maybe I could set aside some time to meet Owen Bush and some of the other Brittish Smiths. I'll let everyone know when we have the dates set. Adlai Klatu Baratta Necktie! Colin KC
I'm sure when Owen pops his head in he'll get in contact, otherwise just pop over to britishblades & we'll sort something out.

Alan Longmire
Sweet! London is one of my favorite cities to visit, of those I've visited, anyway. Gotta see the British Museum, the V&A, the Tower, and so on. Maybe make a daytrip up to the royal armouries museum in Leeds, too, if possible! owen bush
london is a great place to visit for metal /steel museums and such like .I have recently visited the wallace collection wich has beautiful persian blades and great armour ,whenever I go into london I am always envious of the tourists that must see it all in a different light It's quite a city and living here you take it all for granted. . let me know when your coming and I'll make sure that I am around .I't would be great if you visited and I'm sure that colin and any other smiths that are around would pop over . forging soul in to steel owenbush.co.uk

Adlai Stein
When I saw the title, I thought the post was a reference to "The Clash" Indirectly. Think of me when you visit the Tower! But Charlie you're not on my list of people I want to see left chained and starving in a tower forever. However it's a very short list at this time. Adlai Klatu Baratta Necktie! kb0fhp
Also take a short day trip to Brighton - quick train ride down, and see the antique shops and such...not as good as in the summer - but it is a lot of fun. THe museum of Science and Industry is also fun, along with a trip to Greenwich - lots of fun standing on top of two different time zones, and seeing the lazer that makes GMT. They also have a cool time piece museuem...it is also a nice trip down the Thames. See The globe theater... all kinds of stuff to do - Pickadilly at night, the theather district, and absolutely visit a few pubs - good cheap food - and the beer is excellent. D.
