New hunter with pattern-welded blade

...A customer commissioned this as a retirement present for himself. It's a 6" blade, cocobolo grip and the pattern is random nickel steel/hi carbon damascus. He also did the photo work.

Just to prove I do make the occasional non-sword type piece...

Looks good to me Al it looks like a high layer count can you tell us more about the blade? Thanks for showing us.

It's got 2 90-layer sections on each side of a 15-layer edge core, so it's 195 layers.
