Hello.

I'm gonna be bellows pumper at a small reinactment village in the smithy, and there are tons of rusty old tools, punches, tongs etc. which are just lying in rusty piles, and I have started rescuing things, I started with these tongs, and I'm wondeirng, the one on the far right with the arrow pointing to it, what would these be used for?

Those are hammer making tongs or so i was told when i asked on another forum i have a set.

I'm with Robert on this one. The bits on those tongs fit into the drifted hole in the hammer head so you can work on the faces of the hammer. I actually just got some S5 yesterday to make a hammer out of, so I'll need to make a set of these sometime soon.
