Brian Vanspeybroeck Posted August 25, 2003 Author Share Posted August 25, 2003 Cool, Robert. Why walnut for the handle foundation? I have used it before and found it *very tough* to carve and fit. I'm too big a sissy. I use softer woods like poplar for foundations that are going to be wrapped. I like the nice deep curve of the blade.
