Here is a gladius i forged for the Ashokan gladius challenge AT Ashokan. Some of you were there and might remember it. Also, there is a bowie i forged from A2. ALso a couple of small blades forged from the 1084.

That's a NICE sword there Sam. I also really like that last one you posted. Very nice work.

That bowie looks MEAN AND THIRSTY

I had a strange thought the other day.

If I were locked in a room with a copy of myself, i wouldn't like me very much.

I like all them, but the big bowie is simply great. The small bowie is very nice too. It remembers me buck n.119; it has a great looking shape and it's nice to use.

Mourir pour des idées, c'est bien beau mais lesquelles?

It looks as though you have come a long way since the first knives that I have seen from you.

Everything looks clean now. No more stray hammer marks. No more stray grit marks. your lines are even.

Looks good man. Lets see that gladius mounted.

Very nice clean work. I'll have to admit that the gladius is my favorite but the bowie shows very good craftmanship and it really has a "take no prisoners" look to it. Please post the pictures of them when you have them all decked out.

Thank you very much guys, i really appreciate the kind words. Adlai, still learning that finishing part:D. The gladius is on the top of the list of "things to be mounted", so expect an update relatively soon.

Thanks guys! I got a few ideas on the gladius Kenneth, but it still needs a bit of rough shaping on the tang.
